ICRA 2013

The RoboHow team is back from a very successful ICRA conference in Karlsruhe. Seven RoboHow-related papers were presented at the conference, in addition to the following highlights:

• Prof. Aude Billard (PI in RoboHow) gave a plenary talk on “Teaching Robots to Cook, Relax and Play Catch”. The talk has been streamed to the Web, a recording will be available here.
• The paper ”A Probabilistic Framework for Task-Oriented Grasp Stability Assessment” Yasemin Bekiroglu, Dan Song, Lu Wang and Danica Kragic won the Best Manipulation Paper award.
• The paper ”Tracking-Based Interactive Segmentation of Textureless Objects” was selected as finalist for the Best Service Robotics Paper Award.
